Summary: Scientists have pets. People want them. Time for a road trip!
The Log:

Sunday morning comes and it's time to set out for this paper factory Kain wants everyone to go see. After his intial post on the network, Adam contacted those who were still interested in going with the time and place to meet up: outside Dissimulo's entrance bright and early that morning.

Well...time to get started then.

[He'll go ahead and put on a small smile. He places a hand atop the other's head affectionately.]

Just try not to get into too deep of a trouble. [Though, in the back of his mind he can only imagine the sort of things that Hong Kong might get involved in.]

I'm not a kid anymore, y'know? [ Crossing his arms. ]

[He ruffles Hong Kong's hair.]

No need to be embarrassed.

Hey, I'm not embarrassed. [ Looking sidelong at China. ]

Why are you turning pink, then?

[He withdraws his hand.]

[bauhinia]

I'm totally not. [ Lies, old man, lies! ]

[gochuugoku]

[He pokes one of the tinted cheeks.]

Yes, you are.

[bauhinia]

Well, I've got no reason to. [ He endures the poking. ]

[gochuugoku]

Come on, no one else is looking.

[bauhinia]

Yeah, that's exactly why I have no reason to get embarrassed. [ Puffing his cheeks out just a little. ]

[gochuugoku]

[The poking stops and he just sits back and sighs contently.]

[bauhinia]

[ Watching you so closely. ]

[gochuugoku]

[He's quiet for a moment, smiling, but then it disappears, slowly. Seems he remembered something. He keeps staring ahead, not looking at Hong Kong.]

Hong Kong, does it bother you that I can't remember?

[bauhinia]

[ He raises one brow. ]

Why're you asking something like that now?

[gochuugoku]

So it does bother you then.

[bauhinia]

I didn't say that. I've got no right to be bothered one way or another, do I?

[gochuugoku]

[He folds his hands and places them in his lap. He stares down at them.]

It's just that Rìběn seemed unhappy when I told him what my first recollection was. I waved it off then since it was New Years and all, I didn't want to make what's supposed to be a happy occasion into something bad.

Now, however, I am troubled by his reaction. I am greatly concerned, not just for myself but for him too.

You know what year it was for you last time you were here, right? And for Japan too?

[gochuugoku]

I know that I was from 1967, but I didn't know that Rìběn was from a different time then until you told me just now.

He is from 2012 now, though, isn't he? Like me?

[bauhinia]

1940.

[ He thinks that probably speaks for itself. ]

I've been here from 2011 the whole time.

[gochuugoku]

[China mouths "oh".] Did he change to 2011 around the same time I changed to 2012? Or was he already from 2011 before I left?

And even though you tell me this, I cannot remember... [He's trying, which is obvious by the hand he puts to his forehead, but there's no fruit for his efforts.]

[bauhinia]

It happened at around the same time. [ He's not too sure it's prudent to get into specifics. ]

But some stuff has come back to you, yeah?

Well, yes, but it wasn't about you, or Taiwan, or Japan. I wonder if that is why he's upset.

[bauhinia]

D'you think that's it?

[gochuugoku]

Well, he said something about how it was nice to recall happy things first. He was being sarcastic, of course.
