Summary: Crocker needs assistance and Gellert needs distractions
The Log:

It had been a strange week or so.

Not that anything had been that normal since he'd arrived at Dissimulo but the oddness seemed to be increasing - at least in what he was used to seeing.

Gellert was currently wandering down one of the streets, looking around. Creatures had seemed to be scarcer lately which was at once a blessing but they had also broken the boredom. It had been difficult for him to idly entertain himself without his magic.

A distraction could make things interesting.

Denzel gives the frown a I don't know how to stand up for myself look, "THANK YOU!" Spazzing before hitting the floor, "Ow."

".... Are you injured?"

Denzel lies on the floor for a moment, was he ok? He moves slowly, "I'll be fine." If anything he just bruised himself, just what he needed besides a headache. Grabbing onto the toilet pulls himself up. Moving like he's either injuried or worn out or both, "Just going to back to the sofa."

"You probably should rest. Get the toxic potions out of your body."

"Probably..." Continues to lean on the toliet, the only issue was he was exhausted from the vomiting he didn't think he could make it back to the sofa. Actually, he was more or less resting on the toliet, "Little help."

With a sigh, Gellert reaches for his arm to haul him upright.

Gellert haul Denzel upright with too much ease, "Thank you." Remarking weakly and starts back towards the sofa. Where he flops on his side for hours, snoring lightly. If Gellert is around later when Denzel wakes he'll hear Crocker mumble to himself, "God, I'm stupid."

Gellert had done some foraging outside once he'd seen Crocker had fallen asleep. He was back by the time he awakened and did hear the words.

"Yes. You are," he remarked bluntly but in a light tone.

Denzel looks over in Gellert's direction, relativity saying the man was talking to himself, "Gee, you're helpful. Speaking of which that was sarcasm." Before sighing, "Though, I've never done well with peer pressure." Rubbing the back of his neck.

"I've never done what anybody tells me to do," his tone is less boastful than his words - he's just stating a fact.

"Here," he holds out a plate with bread - garnished with something leafy and green - and a glass of water

Distress eyebrows, "Good for you. The only thing I have confidence in is that magic is real." Anything else, even 2 + 2 = 4, well Crocker could argue that's really 6 or Fish.

Crocker sits himself up, "Thank you!" Slighty spazzing before taking the glass and plate.

"Of course magic is real. At least you are a sensible Muggle." If his tone sounds condescending, he doesn't notice.

"Muggle?"

"A non-magical person - not a wizard or witch."

"That makes sense." Nibbles at the food, pause, "Muggles don't believe about magic where you're from either?"

"No, they don't. But our Ministry do not give them a choice."

"What do you mean?" Denzel eyes Gellert curiously.

"There is a law called the Statute of Secrecy. They force witches and wizards and magical creatures into hiding and any muggles who discover our world have their memories erased."

"The HECK?!.. Why?" Denzel stares vastly confused.

"Because the Minisry is full of frightened old men living in the past and they've spread this fear to the entire wizarding population."

"Well... From where I come in the year two thousand five, if you where to perform your powers publicy in the streets... People would fear and panic and try to burn you.... That's human nature for what they don't understand."

"That is fear of the unknown. But if they knew we were here then what could they do to us? We would be able to take them all down in an instant."

"Well - YES! They don't believe that you're real." Before simply stating, "Nothing."

"I don't like to have to hide myself away because of what I am."

"I don't blame you." Before sipping the water, "I was trying to expose magic to my world before I landed here... [Sighing he felt like such a failure]
