Just a blind date
Who: Anyone who signed up here, but party crachers are welcome! (if you suddenly feel the urge to have a romantic dinner with someone, idefc!)
Where: Roof of Latimir
When: 14 Feb, 7.00 pm
Rating: G and up!
Summary: VALENTINE'S~
The Log:
((The message probably came around noon: hey! the blind dates will be tonight at seven. make sure you dress warm, it was pretty chilly last year. thanks for signing up! Now, for some of you might have come as a surprise: "I was signed up for what?" though others already know it was coming for them. Either way, you chose to see exactly what it was you were signed up for. Perhaps a secret lover wanted to meet up with you and were too shy to ask? Wherever you come from, the roof of Latimir is your destination.
The weather was only so-so. Winds blow over the cold roof, table cloths of low quality shutter at their touch. It seems Greece has a campfires set up in three place carefully protected by metal bases to prevent fire damage, and around each tables are set up. At the very center, Greece is sitting, and when he sees someone approach, smiles, bringing him or her to the designated spot. He'll bring the small dinner when your date has arrived! He returns to his spot, clearly attending a soup at the center of the event.
The table seems to be set with only a paper flower set in a small dish. Your number, in black, fading marker stands upright before you, and your partner's number sits across from you. Around you may be the other guests, whom you may approach and talk with if you see fit.
If you look at the other side of the card, you may find a few hints and tips to get conversation going. "Cats" "I can kick your ass" "Scones" "Flowers" and the like are scribbled onto every card.
It's a bit nerve wrecking to arrive before your date, but don't be too worried. Eventually, he or she will show up, and if you were lucky, your date and you won't already hate eachother. It's funny how things work.
The number matches are as follows:
(13 - 15) (4 - 11) (8 - 9) (7 - 14) (1 - 10) (6 - 16) (5 - 12) (2 - 3) (17 - 18)
Comment here with your number in the subject line. Make sure you look to see if your match hasn't commented already. When commenting TO your blind date at first, add your number too!!! If you want to mingle with other guests, that's TOOOOTALLY allowed! And finally, if you need to "godmod" Greece a little as far as food things go, that's fine!
And finally, if you need conversation prompts, forgot/lost your number, or have any other questions, my aim is Maypie Lord, or you can PM the account!))

F-fff
...I don't think-- [ A secret admirer? But then the Valentine's remark caused him to sigh slightly, a small shadow passing his brow.]
It is a holiday you celebrate on earth, correct? I find it difficult to understand why you are all adamant at celebrating martyred priests. All I can say is that no romance was involved in their deaths.
[ A pause. A head tilt. ] The cherubs, however, seem to enjoy this "holiday" as well.
[ Another sigh, looking back at the screen.] And what am I supposed to do with this message?
no subject
C'mon, get in the spirit, what could it hurt? I'd be glad to drop you off on your date if you're shy? [Grinning and obviously making fun of him.]
no subject
...That might be a good choice. [ Another pause.] You are more...socially knowledgable than I am.
[ A slightly suspicious look. ] Is this place another den of inequity, like the one you once showed me?
no subject
Roof of Latimir? Huh. [Strange. Shrug.]
Don't worry, just be yourself. That's what girls like... [Pause.] and don't pry into their lives okay? Or if you do, don't bring it up.
no subject
...You are strangely persistent with getting me there. [ Grumble, grumble.]
[ A longer pause, looking somewhat disgruntled.] I still don't understand why she had the reaction she did...
...Roof of Latimir? [ The angel raised two fingers to hover close to Dean's forehead, waiting for the hunter's word of approval. Or not.] I think during my exploration of this city, I've seen the name before. I can get us there quickly.
no subject
Okay, fine. Beam me up Scotty.
no subject
[ But he does as Dean says he can, extending his arm fully and lightly pressing his index and middle finger to the other man's forehead. In the blink of an eye, they're standing at the entrance.
And Dean was right, about the cold feet. Castiel stands for a few seconds, looking at the front door, before taking a few steps back, casting the hunter an unsure look.] Dean. I am not...sure about this.
no subject
Are you serious? I mean we faced down demons uglier than this. It'll be easier than dragging me out of hell.
[Okay maybe not. Talking to girls just isn't as easy for some. But he drags the angel through the door and out onto the roof where he's treated to the candle-lit tables and such.]
See? Even Sam's here. You'll do fine. [Who was his brother even talking to? Is that Taiwan? Lucky dog. His eyes are scanning the tables, looking for cute girls sitting alone. Cause obviously, that's his spot, right?
He wanders over to talk to Greece, getting Cas's number (and his own) for them. Greece points them to a table, Dean's still unaware that Greece was pointing them BOTH to the table.]
Follow me. [He'll take Cas to said table.]
