Summary: Owen thinks Crocker needs to learn what it is to be a man.
The Log:

Denzel was wondering why the heck he was being pushed around. Maybe he was answering his own thought as he made his way from the subway to the Discedo Hospital with his green parrot on his shoulders. He's always rather been rather push a around able. Stepping inside the hospital, "You wanted to see me?"
Was wondering if the word got out on his bad physical health, to be frank Crocker wasn't use to doctors ever caring much about his health. At least in his world. Physical or mentally.

Denzel just sat there with a long groan with a few, "Stop talking about such awkward! Yes, there's plenty of reasons to say no!" However, Owen's last remark, Crocker wanted to hang him, holding his ring finger with his other hand. Something he was never going to have. She was on another world and even when Denzel was at home, his girlfriend hadn't wanted anything to do with the man anymore but he still loved her. Was that pointless? Denzel's upper body was starting to really sink between his legs and his mouth expression to the floor, with severely distressed eyebrows; it was quite awhile before Denzel uttered another word and the words were faint, "It is wrong to still love her?" It was besides the point it has been over twenty years since she had expressed interest in Denzel.

"..what?"Crocker's comment threw him off and, at first, he didn't understand. After taking in the man's body language and letting it sink in a moment, he thought he could piece together the answer.

"So, that's it, is it? Had someone once and then something happened." He knew what that was like. "How long's it been?"

".....Yes." Denzel states with a groan and hard shallow, "Are you done quizzing me -... Apparently not." Crocker eyes Dr. Owen, you have, have you? Searching in other's eyes for what seems like an hour, before stating, "Twenty - five years..."

"That's....way too long, mate. I mean, it's one thing to still have feelings for her and all that, but everyone needs to move on eventually..." That just wasn't healthy.

".........." Denzel was quiet, it was somewhere between he didn't want too and didn't know how and afraid of falling in love again. He's hanging his head between his legs and his hands on his forehead.

He's sympathetic and gives a sigh. "Look. Lord knows it isn't easy. But this? This isn't healthy. You need to get out more mate. You've got your quirks, but I can't see why some bird wouldn't be interested in you." Clearly, Washu was on some level, at least.

Denzel talks as he continues to look down, "It's too cold to 'get out' and even if I did -" Quickly looks up and screams and looks crazy as he does, "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE PEOPLE!" Pause and a whisper, "Somehow I managed to with her, before she broke up with me..." Crocker starts crying for a moment before, huh, "Bird.... The heck would a bird be interested in me?" Taking that literally and apparently someone never got 'the talk'. So many mood swings.

He just gives him a deadpan stare for a moment. "Bird...as in women. It's slang, Crocker."

"...Oh. Anyways, I'll be going now." Sits himself up, as he does he has that look on his face reading, who would love him anyways? He gave up on a second chance so long ago.... And Washu was only joking after all. Stop him Owen? He's not that hard to stop. So skinny.

He reaches out to put a hand on his shoulder. "Oi. D'you have to bolt the moment things get awkward for you? You'll never solve anything that way. Come on, stay a bit....we can talk about something else instead, if you'd like."

Denzel freezes in place with the hand on the shoulder. His muscles tighten in anxiety. His mind racing, crap, what if Owen notices how skinny I am? Even worse what if he says something?

"I told you. I'm not good with people....." Slightly looks to out of the corner of his eyes, "Talk about what?"
