[ If this was anyone but an American soldier, America would wheel around and literally run him over like a horse trampling a rabbit in its path. But since he is American he'll actually shut off the chainsaw hand (how he manages it is a mystery since the crazy thing doesn't even seem to run on gas IT ONLY RUNS ON LIBERTY I guess). Judging by the frown he's not too happy about it though. ]

What's the point?

What's the point of yelling and running? All you'll end up doing is tiring yourself out and attracting the kind of attention that you don't want.

I'm just letting it out there that this time, whatever's lurking in the fog ain't gonna get the upper hand. I'm prepared to take it on.

There is. And it's a bad idea if this is a hostage situation. [He doesn't exactly look as amused.] And all you're doing is going to attract whatever is out there.

The more attention they've got on me, the less they've got on the people they've got, and if they wanna come out and see me? All the better.

Nah man, hear me out! Even if death was a permanent thing around these parts, I'm an anomaly. I ain't exactly immortal but I don't stay dead, ya dig? And it's really hard to off me in the first place. Bullet to the brain? Pffff, inconvenient at best. So my personal safety ain't an issue.
