What's the point of yelling and running? All you'll end up doing is tiring yourself out and attracting the kind of attention that you don't want.

I'm just letting it out there that this time, whatever's lurking in the fog ain't gonna get the upper hand. I'm prepared to take it on.

Nah man, hear me out! Even if death was a permanent thing around these parts, I'm an anomaly. I ain't exactly immortal but I don't stay dead, ya dig? And it's really hard to off me in the first place. Bullet to the brain? Pffff, inconvenient at best. So my personal safety ain't an issue.
