[ Karkat makes a noise in the back of his throat when she licks him. It's like a high-pitched squeal soaked in phlegm. ]

Careful with that, Terezi! This is how humans get pregnant. ...Except with a lot more moaning and awfulness. God, I'm scarred for life.

If we keep the moaning and awfulness to a minimum, I believe we'll be safe from babies. Besides [ she rubs his stomach ] if you caught babies, I wouldn't abandon you. We'd be the best earthhuman-brolususfathers.

[ Even if Karkat's sick, she can't help but troll. She pulls out a water bottle from her bag, unscrews the top, and shoves it in Karkat's face. ]

You also can't get infected if you have water in your belly. So you should probably drink some. You know, just to be safe. Gotta use protection!

No we wouldn't. We would be awful and our brood wigglerbabbies would die like a contestant in the Game of Hungers. Consecutively. [ truth. ]

[ He looks a little dubious as this, but he is pretty thirsty. And protection is important. ]

Fine. [ He takes a sip. Unfortunately he's so sick that his gag reflex kicks in; he starts coughing and heaving like his body is trying to reject the water. After a minute of this, eyes water and face set in grim determination, Karkat tries again and starts gulping down the water despite his body's protests. ]

[ Karkat, you are so intense. Terezi merely sniffs in his direction in silent awe at his pure iron willpower.

But apparently, the water should keep him alive, at least that's what Terezi thinks. She would have shoved it down his throat if he continued to gag. But it looks like he finished it. Go Karkat, go. ]
