The Log:

[ This is an open log for those who wish to explore Lachesistein freely, and it can take place any time between July 16th and 26th. For more information on Lachesistein, please refer to the Exploration plotting post. If something comes up at all, make sure to contact a mod with your questions or concerns.

Monster is a pretty loose term, Izaya. But at least I'm the fun kind~

[ But it means "inhumanly cruel or wicked person" and that suits him just perfectly. Suigetsu raises his eyebrows with a smile when Izaya approaches without heeding his warnings and he feels the brush of hands on him, ushering him farther inside. He pouts. ]

Don't rush me! I'll get there when I get there, you know? I doubt there'll be anything too important in here. If I were a criminal - if, of course, hehehe - I wouldn't hide a bunch of hostages in this kinda place. Too cliché! You need to be inventive when you're dispatching people!

Whaddaya think, Izaya?

[shinjukuinformant]

I think that only increases our chances of finding the trap then, ne?

[Izaya smirk's.]

The most obvious place where they could be hidden used as a lure for the more simple minded? There must be something in here.

I'm pretty much exploring anyway, but you could be right! Searching for traps... I like you style~

[ He smiles pleasantly, looking over. ] If you're scared of the dark, I can hold your hand, Izaya.

[shinjukuinformant]

I won't catch any monster diseases, will I?

[Izaya smirks]

Can't you just carry me~~~?

Maybe a couple~

[ His smile falls though, replaced by a deadpan stare. ]

What, no way, you have legs, walk with them.

[shinjukuinformant]

You're so cruel, Sui-chan.

[Izaya grabbed the monster's hand and smirked]

I bet you're the one who is really scared.

[liquidate]

[ Suigetsu snickers at the hand-holding and swings their arms childishly, bumping their biceps as he leans in with a shark-like grin. ]

Terrified~

Lets see if you scream like a girl then

[Izaya's own smile was just as devilish if not a bit lewd to look at as he refused to back down from Suigetsu.]

Although I hear everything gets so much scarier when the machines are turned on

[Whether or not Izaya did something (as indeed he had found a rather suspicious button looking button on the machine beside him) was hard to tell as suddenly everything inside began to groan and whine as the machines came to life.]

[ Suigetsu hears the creaking and the muscles in his arms and shoulders tense for a split second, instincts telling him to stop moving. He turns his face to the now moving conveyors, hydraulics hissing, pistons crushing leftover scraps.

Ah, so it is an abandoned steel mill. ] Spoooooky! [ He exclaims, feigning a cheesy look of horror, covering his cheek with his free hand. His face falls into an easy smile moments after. ]

Looks like they process metal here. I wonder what they build, I've never seen anything like these machines.

[shinjukuinformant]

[Izaya watches the machines briefly before he seems to lose interest in them. If he knows what they are used for he does not say as he begins to drag Suigetsu down the aisles between them all.]

We could put you on one of the belts and see what happens to you~ That might help explain what they do.

We sure could, Izaya.

[ He detaches his hand and lays it on the hilt of his new sword he acquired here in Lachesistein. ]

But only if I can't persuade you to volunteer~

[shinjukuinformant]

[Izaya raises an eyebrow at Suigetsu before sighing in an almost 'wow that is annoying' manner.]

What is with monster's and their forever persisting need to resort to violence every chance they get?

[liquidate]

Oh, I'm not resorting to violence. I'm inviting it.

[ He tilts his head, smiling all the while. ]

[shinjukuinformant]

It is not as though I am going to attack you.

[Izaya rolls his eyes.]

Did the machines scare you that much?

[liquidate]

Nope. [ He taps his finger on the tip of the sword's hilt. ] It just pays to be prepared.

[shinjukuinformant]

You're weird.

[Izaya repeats the already defined insult between the two of them as he turns with a light bounce to meander deeper into the warehouse.]

There is probably a break room somewhere.

[liquidate]

You wanna leave so soon after you only just started the machines? [ Suigetsu winks. ] But the sound of metal screeching is beautiful. One of the best!

I'm going to look in the office up there, Izaya! [ He points at the pane of glass one floor up, then begins to weave around the machines to it. There is no way Suigetsu's following the beat to Izaya's drum.]

[Izaya sighed as Suigetsu begins to weave away to do his own thing.]

Shout if you find something then

[The informant seems completely unconcerned when it comes to the idea of being separated from his companion as he moves to jump onto a conveyor belt - letting the machine carry him instead of him having to walk to get to wherever it is he wanted to go]

[ Kicking open the office door, Suigetsu sends papers scattering - even more when he shoves a stack off of the desk so he can see everything better.

He begins to rummage, trying to find something that could be of use, but he discovers a set of car keys, a wallet with no identification and a strange weapon. He picks it up; pretty heavy for such a small thing, he tucks it into one of his many belts. Maybe he could find a use for it later. ]

[ Spotting Izaya through the window of the office, Suigetsu watches him a moment, eyes narrowing. Strange guy, that's for sure, but it's hard to trump the shinobi in the bat-shit crazy competition.

It takes him a second, but he leaps from the doorway onto the next conveyor, watching the gears turn, sparks fly, metal grind and come out in blocks on the other side. ]

Izaaaaya-kuuun, would you like to play a game~?
