Even though America is shit at reading the atmosphere, he can still recognize the worry in her voice. He puts on his most reassuring smile and pats her on the shoulder with his one good hand. ]

Ain't nothing I can't handle though. Like I said, I'm ready! You've got nothing to worry about as long as I'm here. Plus I've got Captain freaking America to back me up if things get bad. Whatever's lurking in the shadows better fear the American Avengers.

[Actually, tbh, she finds it really cute. And also something of a relief, since she was wondering if and when they'd met.

...and almost a little vindicated that her guess at his reaction had been more or less spot on.

H-how are you supposed to fight fog? You can't...hit it or cut it or anything like that...

Those are just the zombies! Those guys are slow, and I mean, c'mon. Chainsaw hand. I can take on a horde of zombies no problem! And I've got quite a bit of vampire experience up my sleeve, as ya know, and ghosts? I'm practically over my phobia!
