The Log:

Before the wedding can start the groom must go through the wedding door games while the bride adds finishing touches to her outfit and makeup. Once that's done they head over to the gym and the wedding can start!

Releasing Izaya, stumbling back from him, Shizuo looks down, looks away and quickly moves to throw open the nearest door, jogging out into the street, huffing, wiping his face, clenching his teeth.

And he howls long and loud, frustration digging its claws into his head, making him shake and wish someone was here to calm him down.

To tell him that everything would be alright, to set a milk down in front of him and reassure him that he'd be home soon. ]

[Izaya's laughter doesn't diminish. It echoes after the blond, haunting him and chasing him like a nightmare come alive.

Except what was worse for the blond was that it wasn't Izaya's laugh that was the center of his terror. It was his own anger, his own inner beast that only the laughter and the one performing it ever readily called out.

The laugh was just a reminder of how no matter how hard Shizuo tries, that monster would forever remain within him.]

[It wouldn't be until later that Izaya would take the same exit the blond did. He seemed content to let Shizuo run, to allow him to wallow a bit in misery over his own realization of how nothing had changed. Of how he to this day he remained the same volatile and uncontrollable monster Izaya always said he was.

Because at the end of the day, Shizuo's own self-worth issues were always Izaya's trump card in the misery he lavishly bestowed upon the blond]
