Who: Denzel and Washu
Where: Their apartment
When: After all of Crocker's transformation but before the new event

Summary: Where have I been all week?
The Log:

Denzel was lying in the fetus postion. He wasn't exactly sure how long he had been. Seem to him like only the normal hours had gone by. Making his way to the kitchen, opens one of the cabinets in order to have some ceral.

"SAYS YOU!" Denzel grumbles, sets down his coffee mug and heads back to his room. He needed to lie down. Not sleep but lie down, his head was like a shattered glass.

However, Denzel doesn't lie down, rather he screams in shock and falls to the floor, if Washu investgates she'll find him holding onto his chest. Just a mild heart attack, and huffs out his next words, "What... What happened in here?"

Everything was bright orange and full of 1970s designs and his equations! All gone!

At the sound of the scream, she calmly put down her tea cup and went to investigate. The sight of him holding her chest made Washu roll her eyes at him.

"You redecorated."

Denzel is still sitting on the floor where he fell. There's some sweat on his face and slowly let's his hand on his chest slide off. She may also notice he's growing his finger nails out again.

With the help of the help of the wall gets himself to his feet, and walks over, a bit more off center then usual and flops on the sofa on his side. He'll be fine, just needs to take it a bit easy for a little while.

It's hard not to notice that. Washu will have to pin him down and take care of those again. Such helpless child~.

Oh well. She watches as he moves himself to the sofa and flops over.

"...Are you going to be okay?"

"I think." Murmuring back, "Just feeling older then I actually am at the moment."

"Oh~? How strange."

Don't mind her snickering behind him. This was just too amusing to her.

"Not really. It's the physics."

Denzel just grumbles, "If you're going to find this amusing you can leave and let me die."

"Not going to happen~. If it helps we can redecorate the room again."

For her it would be child's play to put the equations on the wall again. Not that he needed to know that~.

"Slighty. I still have to reconfigure everything I wrote on the wall..."

"Why not write new equations~? Or be creative with your decorating?"

Denzel flips over, to where he's sit lying. The shoulder of the sofa is supporting his rear and everything above that and his legs strenched outwards on the rest of the sofa. "Because I thought I was onto something and that was being 'creative' with decorating. AND STOP FLIRTING WITH ME!"

Grumble, grumble.

"For once I wasn't flirting." She rolls her eyes before projecting all of his equations over the new paint job.

"Do you really think I wouldn't save your work? I can put it back on the walls easily enough. However I think It might just be easier to give you a chalk board or two."

Crocker becomes wide eyed, "I really need to get better at social cues..."

There's a pause, "With you anything is possible." He states as a fact, "There's no room in my bedroom for a chalkboard. Besides, what's wrong with using the - WALLS!?"

Denzel eyes Washu, "Are you trying to tell me something?" Like he's out of his goddamn mind.

"Yes. You do."

She rolls her eyes as the holographic equations dance around the room. "Simple, I can put them in the wall. As for why I don't like the fact you use the walls, well it's a limited space that you can't easily erase if you want to write something new. That~. And its my apartment, what I say goes Little Denzel."

Washu frowns a little. In other words, his equations better not appear on any other walls outside this room IF she puts them back on the walls. "...Only that you are brilliant despite your issues."

"Look, I may be skinny, but I still take up space and between the bed, the desk and the - CHAIR! And dresser and occasionally Ryoko." Stating the last part with annoyance, "The dimensions in my room simply won't allow for a full size chalk board, none the less two."

There's a beat, "Yes, I know. Apparently, that's the story of my life." Though considering this place, he's probably better off living here. He sighs and flips his body around to a normal sitting postion and peers over to Washu to the side, "Yeah, I know that's the only reason you put up with me." His face is in distress, he wasn't that clueless.

However, the good thing was she puts up with him and in a much better way then his own mother. Twisting his body to angle with his face.

"Thank you." Which his face and voice genuinely meant.

And that~ was all it took to make her smile. A simple 'Thank you' will go a long way. With a few key strokes the equations are back on the wall though the new colors and images remain~.

"You're welcome."

"CAN YOU GET RID OF THOSE COLORS AND IMAGES!? IT LOOKS LIKE THE 1970's VOMITTED ALL OVER IT!"

"Nope~. I think they're cute."

Good luck getting her to take the colors and images away. Especially~ since it bothered him.

"GAH!" Denzel pulls on his hair, there's a moment of pause, "You just enjoy driving me up the wall don't you?" Why, why, why do you torment me, woman?

"You got it."

Because its so much fun~. Why else would she do it?

Denzel just groans with a fuck you tone in there, as he's starting to move things out of his room to another room that isn't orange.

Washu just laughs and walks away. If he wants to move rooms, fine. Just as long as he stays away from hers. Besides, she'll turn the room to normal after he's done.

Denzel cringes, before he goes back to talking to himself, "Mocking me like everyone back home. I don't know why I stay here." Throwing his things into a box, he catches her walking away in the hall, and shoots a glare, "I am not here for your amusement!"
