Summary: the naruto cast is on a journey into the woods before the chip removal, and then some of the shenanigans prior

[ For the duration of the trip Naruto will either be 1) Hanging around Sakura and/or Sasuke like an obnoxious twit.

Or 2)GLARING IN SUIGETSU'S DIRECTION, and giving him all the suspicious looks. ]

[ Right, because all that glaring is really helping this already awkward journey to become even more awkward. Sasuke's almost entirely silent, as usual, occasionally aiming a piercing stare at the back of one of his former teammate's heads... or just eyeing them head-on; he's not particularly shy about this. ]

[ Suigetsu's not quiet like Sasuke about his staring.

He's pretty much outright scowling at both Naruto and Sakura right now, but seeing as though he's getting the most stink eye from this whiskered brat, he jumps on that. He's calming the urge to try and kill him, knowing Sasuke would be pretty pissed if he did... in favor of doing what he did best. ]

Got some kind of stick up your ass you want me to pull out for ya? Or is your ugly mug just stuck like that?

((At the meeting spot;
Sakura waits quietly at the designated meeting spot for everyone else to arrive. Honestly, the last week she's been a lot quieter than usual, definitely dreading this upcoming chip removal. Not that she dared to tell Naruto that ever. So she waits casually with Naruto not too far off. Sasuke and Suigetsu should arrive from the train station soon. Why'd THAT guy have to come, anyway? Ugh, whatever.

She has her few bags waiting by her. Looks like she has a little more stuff to carry than everyone else, given the medical supplies required for this. Good thing Naruto doesn't mind a little extra lifting!!!


On camp;
AAAnd now she's unloading her things. Looks like she has a large array of supplies. And her own tent! Wow efficient much, Sakura? She's spent a little time looking for a place to preform the chip removals, somewhere private for obvious reasons. Eventually, she'll go over the plan with them all again, especially considering she had to redetail how she had to do the chip removal, and what would happen. Talk about a major pain, but she'll get over it...))

[ At the camp Sasuke is quick to locate Sakura, precisely for the purpose of overseeing that unpacking. Knowing what sort of tools will be used interests him vaguely. Besides, it isn't such a large campsite that they can easily avoid one another either way.

His gaze drifts to the tent. ] ... You made something like that?

Hmm...? Yeah...

((She looks back at him a moment, then back to her work. She honestly didn't want to talk to him, but yeah.. unavoidable.)) It's been rainy lately, and I might need somewhere dry to work these next few days.

Do whatever you need to. We can't afford any mistakes at this point.

((She turns to him, a frown on her face.))

[ Up down stare. They're approaching the designated meeting spot and Suigetsu really has one thing to say: ]

Oh okay, so then we can just forget all the medical supplies, take Sasuke's chip out in the woods, and then have him die of an infection in his groin. I'm sure everyone would love that idea. ((So much sarcasm. So much of it.))

[ Suigetsu will be trying out the new swords China made for him; whether this is to brag about his awesome swordsmanship or to let off some steam from previous chats with the disbanded Team 7. Some unfortunate, blackened trees are falling victim to his sparring - perhaps he could use a partner... or a test dummy. ]

[ Later though, hours before the scary chip removal, he'll be pacing around, complaining. It's his subtle way of fretting about the entire thing, but he's not about to let others in on that. He'll be acting super annoying - more so than usual - about the "lack of water supplies" and about how everything and everyone sucks in general. ]

((All this... COMPLAINING. She literally might pop from how stupid retarded all this complaining. And Suigetsu's voice is the absolute WORST.

She's been setting up off and on most of today, and finally. She snaps. Soon as she finds something, she CHUCKS a rock in Suigetsu's direction.))

[ Suigetsu finds a rather sizeable rock punching a hole in his middle.

It makes a nice ragged hollow where his gut would be - unfortunately, this only serves to distress him more, making him wheel around, water slipping up his legs, to point at her. ]

[ He certainly appears much calmer himself, having been merely watching Suigetsu for a while now with no interruptions. FInally even he feels the need to make conversation of some sort. ]

You're getting accustomed quickly to those blades.

[ Huffing and landing, a large branch of the tree creaking and falling to the ground in a cloud of ash and leaves, Suigetsu swings the swords out from his body in a test cut before looking down at their hilts. ]

They're lightweight and sturdy. [ A pause. ] Wouldn't last five minutes back home. Not against something like the Eight Tails or his little Cloud buddies.

Probably not. When we return you'll have your Kubikiribouchou so it won't be an issue.

[ Slowly he moves forward, making his position evident should Suigetsu resume his practicing. ] ... [ His hand finds the hilt of Kusanagi, withdrawing it and holding it out without warning. ] Try it, if you want.

[ Reacting quickly to Sasuke's invitation, he meets Kusanagi's blade with the one tip of his own. ]

Fuu... aren't you supposed to be resting up for your big reveal, Sasuke?

Okay, chip removal for Sasuke and Naruto, so private threads!

((SASUKE gets the pleasure of having his removed from his thigh, which is something Sakura DEFINITELY isn't looking for.

NARUTO has to have his removed from his ear, and obvs they have things to talk about.

Both have been pulled to the side, away from the others so that she could work peacefully.))

[ Naruto, being the idiot he is, looks like he's about to start jumping up and down like a little kid. Seriously, man, he is so excited to get this stupid chip out.

Why didn't he get this done sooner seriously.

Though despite how ready he was to get this done and have his ninjutsu back, as soon as he and Sakura are alone his brow furrows and he looks...nervous, almost. ]

Hey...You're sure something won't happen right away, yeah? Like...you'll be able to get far enough from here before anything weird happens, right? [ He has probably asked this question a million times. ]

Geez, Naruto, I thought being the worrywart was my job. ((She's laughing a little.)) Believe me Naruto, I've done this a bunch of times. Soon as your chip is out, I head leave, and it won't be anything less than half a day before your powers act up. And look, I even have all my supplies at the ready so no worries.

I'll be fine, alright? ((She smiles and it seems genuine. She holds some medical supplies in her hands, just waiting for Naruto to relax before she works.))
