FAITO TO THE DEATH [Closed]

Who: Abarai Renji ([livejournal.com profile] deathgoggles) & Akabane Kurodou ([livejournal.com profile] carnagescene)
Where: City Outskirts
When: Evening (April 14) L-LOL BACKDATE GO!
Rating: PG-13 to R for violence, death, and the usual redhead-issue profanity :|
Summary: Renji challenges Akabane, and it seems both of them understand that it's a fight to the death. Oh boy.
the log:
Hakama in one piece, check. Bandana, check. Zabimaru raring to go and snarling joyfully in the back of his mind at getting a real fight again? Check that a couple times actually because the fucking monkey just would not shut up no matter how much Renji tried yelling at him.

Ya wanna give it a rest? Can't focus with you screeching in my head like that.

Shut up, dumbfuck. We haven't had a chance to get out and about in some time because of YOUR failure to call us.

God, shut the fuck up, I know ya know 'bout the chip, so shut yer traps!

For a wonder, the fuckers actually did, although the snarling didn't stop. Renji kind of wished he had his goggles with him right about now--it still felt weird going into battle without them. Beggars couldn't be choosers, though. And the slightly violent banter was actually settling his nerves after the events of the day--he still owed the damn kid a good pounding for being stupid enough to go to Akabane of all people. Granted, Renji hadn't been wary enough, probably, of the guy to begin with, but what the hell, he wasn't letting the guy near him with a ten-foot-pole, never mind scalpels.

... Which didn't explain much about the fight that was about to go down, but.

The focused fury from earlier had now been channeled into the desire to fight, the instinctive reaction of every member, former or present, of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13 being fight first, have shit out later (or during the fight, but that was mostly discouraged because it distracted you from fighting). And now that Zabimaru was back, he was going to wipe the floor with this guy.

Edge of the forest, now, and the silence was such that when he took a step, it felt like there was an echo. Fucking creepy, so he just stood quietly, and scanned for his opponent, all muscles tensed--because with someone like what that Akabane seemed to be, you could never tell when the fight had started.

[OOC: Sorry about being so late with the starting tag, Akabane-mun. >: Re: Zabimaru, bold is for the snake head and the rest is the baboon head. Because it has two heads. Yeah. XD;;;]
