Who:
Link ( [profile] xhero_of_timex ), Sheik ( [profile] sheikahsurvivor )
Where: Marshall St. Apartments
When: Right after this conversation
Rating: ...PG? Shouldn't be anything too offensive, but just to be safe...
Summary: Sheik finally meets up with Link
the log:
He wasn't sure what to do.

His stomach was aching again, but this time it wasn't because Zelda couldn't feel the Goddesses' presence. It was because of something different, something... unexplainable. Like when Zelda first saw Link rush into her private garden, everything about him so innocent and carefree. Those butterflies that had risen with such vigor within her were now making a triumphant return as he slipped through the doors of the building, and Sheik didn't like it.

Link wanted to talk. He had never wanted to "talk" before. Well, that may have been a lie. He had tried to stop Sheik a few times before the Sheikah had pulled out one of those deku nuts...

Perhaps it was about Zelda?

Well, there wasn't much Sheik could say about Zelda, other than the fact she was safe, which wasn't entirely true either. Prancing around as a boy and placing herself at the entrances of temples to await the arrival of the Hero of Time wasn't exactly the safest way of life, but she had trained in hiding for seven years. The worst thing that could happen was Ganondorf finding out Sheik's true identity, kidnapping him, and using the two peices of the Triforce to take over the world.

Alright, so she's not safe, he thought as he trudged down the hall. How much good can be done by telling the Hero of Time what's actually going on? Things are better this way.

It was a good choice, he said to himself. Zelda didn't have the Triforce of Wisdom for nothing. If she knew how to make good decisions, Sheik knew how. They were one in the same person, after all. Sometimes, Sheik found himself forgetting that.

The door was open a little. "Link?" he said softly, almost grimacing at the girliness in his voice - too reminiscent of the Princess. "Can I come in?"
