(no subject)
Who: Stork, Derek, Snake
Where: The Cemetery
When: After Derek’s arrival.
Rating:PG-13 most likely
Summary: Snake gets his arm looked at, whilst helping Derek with his arrival. Stork sneaks in.
the log:
The wound had stopped bleeding and of course Snake had constantly been treating and cleaning it. The only issue was, he didn’t know what this animal was. He’d never seen anything like it, and though the soldier had some extent of medical training, he was by far, no expert. Usually, he had Para Medic provide him with any updates or feeds that he would require. This time, he had to figure things out to the best of his own ability.
Things here weren’t going to come free. Snake realized this. He needed to begin forming relationships with people here. Whether they were good, or bad, he needed to set his own social standards. The whole, campfire-free-loving-everybody-hold-hands idea, really wasn’t going to last or be sufficient. In the long run, things would end up as the always did: You win some, you lose some. You gain allies, you gain enemies.
The doctor was new to the place and his skill wasn’t to be wasted. Over the communicator, the man seemed sincere enough. Snake appreciated that the doctor didn’t loiter around searching for friends, complaining about old enemies, etc. etc. This was one of the few people he’d come across so far that was willing to be on the move, without lagging in the past.
As Snake neared the cemetery, his eyes scanned his surroundings. Things seemed to be empty enough now, but it was only a matter of time before…. He paused. A howl rang out in the distance. Heh, yeah. Only a matter of time.
The soldier stepped up to the entrance of the graveyard, waiting for the newcomer to hopefully notice him first. It would be better not to stride out flailing and screaming for him. That would most likely coax out the enemy as well.
