Summary: Scientists have pets. People want them. Time for a road trip!
The Log:

Sunday morning comes and it's time to set out for this paper factory Kain wants everyone to go see. After his intial post on the network, Adam contacted those who were still interested in going with the time and place to meet up: outside Dissimulo's entrance bright and early that morning.

Well...time to get started then.

Time to meet your fellow travelers! Talk for a bit and plan stuff out. And feel free to ask Adam questions as well, he doesn't bite.

((There is a bearded man dressed in a trench coat; it's draped over his shoulders. He has messy hair, and looks to have a disabled arm.

Honestly. Unless you heard him talk, it's pretty hard to tell this is Germany. He's lost both his siblings, and now the scientists have KIDNAPPED HIS DOG. Bullshit!!! He is a very grumpy, almost-homeless-looking man. This month has sucked.))

Excuse me, but have we met before?

((Looks at Adam, grumpy as always. He offers his hand.))

Perhaps. I'm called Germany, though I generally go by Ludwig here.

[Wait, there's a Germany in-]

You're a part of the Watch too? I thought I heard that name at the meeting.

Yes, that's correct. I was at the last meeting, and I'm still considerably new to the watch.

Think we might find something important on this trip?

Knowing Fortuna's habits, I have no doubt we'll find something even if we don't want it. Those scientists are probably throwing us in danger for another laugh.

For some maybe but I'll take anything that'll help us figure out what is with this place.

Hopefully.... I'm a little more worried that woman is going to keep her end of the bargain.

[Washu's doing the same thing along with having her computer floating in front of her. There was just a few notes she had to add to her latest findings before they set off.

Once she was done, she noticed him and raised an eyebrow.]

Weren't you the one that fixed the hospital generator in Spero?

[Something catches Crocker's eyes. Technology ! And advance technology at that] Was that a holographic computer?!

Ah, yes. I - AM! [slight spazz and a pause] You're the person that fixed the power planet in Discedo, yes? [Continues to have shivers and shakes on and off]

Yes I am~. I'm Little Washu and its always a pleasure to meet someone else handy around machinery.

[She notices the shaking and frowns a little. Of course, she also notices the interest in her technology and smirks a little. If he manages to get a glimpse at the screen, its nothing but advanced scientific notation and a strange foreign language that doesn't look like anything from Earth.]

Mr. Crocker. [Pulling a hand out of his pocket. They may or may be slightly pink on fingers]

Where did you come across that piece of techonolgy?

Oh this? I created it~. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the data in my lab back home but it works wonderfully for compiling new data on the lifeforms we encounter around here.

So, that came with you. I see. I only wish more advance techology was available here but then I never planned on coming here either. This accusative place!

Exactly what information have you all gathered?

You could say that~. I wouldn't mind access to my lab again. Though I'm just going to make due with rebuilding what I can.

[Denzel continues to look at Little Washu and wondering how the hell she can be so happy] Your lab? [His eyes narrow] Do you believe in magic?

[When you get her age, most things amuse her.]

Yes~.I was rather fond of it and I had just got all five planets reorganized before arriving here.

[At his next question she frowns.]

..Magic? I am a scientist. As a scientist I understand that there are certain rules that govern the universe. However, I also know those rules can be bent.

So, no I don't. But~ to the untrained eye I can see where someone might think magic exists.

[Denzel almost immediately tunes her out and looks away]

Magic may not exist here on it's own. However, that doesn't mean that none of us couldn't have magic from where we came from! [Though he wasn't exactly sure what to make of those trees with faces. Strange yes, but he didn't smell any magic either. Maybe they're a type of monster?]

Might think magic exists? [Opens his mouth to say something but then closes] You know what I'm not even going to go there. [And turns to walk away, stop him?]

[She just might. Washu shakes her head and snaps her fingers. A potted plant falls out of the sky in front of Denzel and smashes into the ground.]
