[Danny had given the whole ship travel thing a try. Really, he had. But the whole thing reminded him way too much of the whole Youngblood incident. After a while the paranoia had started to creep up on him.

And so he'd taken to flying alongside the ship. Mostly near the waterline or around the deck, although he occasionally ascended high enough to rest briefly on the rigging.]

[Phoenix-man has been hanging out in the crow's nest, though eventually after watching this, he switches back to human with an arched eyebrow.]

You don't have to do that you know. I've got it covered.

[Danny raises an eyebrow at the transformation.]

Its something to do. There's only so long I can stare out at all this water with nothing to do.

There are a bunch of weird monsters in the lake, eh.

[THERE IS A PERSON FLYING AROUND HIS SHIP. HOW ARE THEY DOING THAT.]

OUUUUUUUH!! How are you doing that!?

[Danny slows and lands on the railing.]

Because I'm a ghost?

[straw_hat]

A ghost? So wait, you're dead?

Technically I'm only half ghost.

What's your other half, then?

[She's noticed that flying figure for some time now. Perhaps she should say hello, and she does by barking at him.]

[Danny slows and waves cheerfully at her.]

[sundancer]

[She jumps up and down, still barking.]

[Huge dog lover here. He floats over and lands on the railing to get a better look.]

[She walks over to the railing, also interested in getting a closer look at Danny.]

[Catching sight of Danny, Cube watches him and instantly gets a worry attack.]

B-Be careful!

[He might be reaching out to Danny or flailing... it's hard to tell.]

[Danny blinks and slows to a halt. Still standing on nothing.]

Why?

[Cube remembers you. Even though Danny is a ghost, the little demon can't calm his nerves.]

I doubt it's completely safe, even if you are a creature of the spirit world.

Why wouldn't it be? If you're worried about the lake dragons, I can more than handle it.

Ah, I'm sure you can handle things yourself, but you shouldn't worry others.

[When Taiwan had gotten on the ship the day before, she had been a little preoccupied getting settled, and especially getting the kitchen up and running. So the last thing she expects to see is a person flying around.] AH-!
