[ It'd been a long time since he'd been out on the water- since the first trip to Spero back in the summer, actually. It felt sort of nostalgic, now. At least this time promised to be a bit more casual- no sudden mushroom clouds forcing them to leave, just a cool investigation. What could go wrong??

In any case, Jack can be found sitting casually on the very side of the ship. You could totally push him off the ledge without him seeing, y'know. ]

[Luffy sadly couldn't remember everyone's names of who came along. But hell, he was trying! So he walks up to Jack, waving.]

Hey! You're Jack, right?

Hey!

((Approaching. Might as well start getting to know the strangers around here; they'd all be traveling together the next two weeks.))

[Danny had given the whole ship travel thing a try. Really, he had. But the whole thing reminded him way too much of the whole Youngblood incident. After a while the paranoia had started to creep up on him.

And so he'd taken to flying alongside the ship. Mostly near the waterline or around the deck, although he occasionally ascended high enough to rest briefly on the rigging.]

[Phoenix-man has been hanging out in the crow's nest, though eventually after watching this, he switches back to human with an arched eyebrow.]

You don't have to do that you know. I've got it covered.

[THERE IS A PERSON FLYING AROUND HIS SHIP. HOW ARE THEY DOING THAT.]

OUUUUUUUH!! How are you doing that!?

[Well, Luffy is certainly excited about this. He hasn't gone on a decent adventure in what seems like forever. After all, he was cut off from the New World just before coming here again. For what... the third time? Damn, it had been a while.

He can basically be seen wandering anywhere around the Weather Hardy, though. Glad to actually be out sailing for a change.]

[Ammy had been out to sea before, but on the back of Orca, and the last ship she had been on was sunk. This one, however, was in good shape! She's spotted a few familiar faces too.

Too bad the clouds were blocking out most of the sun. It kind of gave her a sense of foreboding that the sun wasn't seeing them off, but she shook the uneasiness off her and made herself comfortable on deck, resting her chin on her front paws.]

[Owen hadn't been on a boat in years and a large one like this? Never. Suddenly he remembered why: seasickness.

He stood at the edge of the ship, knuckles white with how tight he was gripping the edge, as he tried to breath past the flipping in his stomach.]

It's just...unintentional motion my body doesn't expect...c-causing my sense of balance to be lost...and my body over-compensates to fix it...just a little loss of equilibrium..

[Self-diagnosis was his way of dealing..he could get through this. Not a problem..]

[England is standing happily at the bow of the ship, wind blowing through her pigtails as she holds her hat tightly ont her head with one hand. Where she got that oddly pirate-y hat no one will ever know, but she has it now.

It's been a while since she was last at sea, the rocking waves and smell of the water putting her in a peaceful mood. No doubt it won't last long, but she's enjoying it for now. She sings quietly to herself, staring out at the water.]

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

[At least one passenger was less than pleased at being on a ship again. A ship. On water. That moved.

Flandre was a little bit better about it this time--a little bit. She was actually on deck in the evening! As opposed to spending the entire trip in a box like she had last time (just most of the trip during the daylight hours).

...she's still got herself wedged into a corner as close to the ship's center of gravity as possible, though from a point where she can still see out. In the fading evening light, her glowing red eyes are quite visible.]

[Wandering up onto the ship. She seems to be carrying a lot of things and looking around the ship in quite a confused way. She'd been here before, once, but she hadn't exactly explored. Wonder what she's looking for?]

[ For the first few hours, Naruto was interested in everything. It was all so cool, and wow you can practically see the mystery coming from wherever the hell they're headed. And who cares! This is going to be an awesome adventure!

Now, just a few hours later, the excitement has worn off, and he's laying in the middle of the deck




Being bored



Really, really bored.





He will occasionally roll over to whine and complain about how boring it is, because why isn't there more to do on this ship? When will things get intereseting?!

April 15-16th

((Jumping ahead a little on the time line, Sakura wanders aimlessly through the first cottage they explore. What a dump. Her eyes are wide as she looks at every little cobweb. The ceiling has holes inside of it, and for a moment she smiles.

Looks like a bird tried to build a nest here. A moment of silence for her, maybe a little transfixed.))

April 16th (Evening)

[China steps off the ship, warily looking around the dark surroundings. He shakes his head.]

I don't like the looks of this.

[For arriving at the cottages on the 15th, Luffy can be found looking around the cottages, with... his usual excitement a bit off. He looks around the cottages, but looks a bit distant.] Robin would be having a ball with this place...

[He pokes his head curiously into the cottages, clearly noting the signs of there being something like a fight.] Wonder what happened.

[On the 16th, docking at the small town shore, Luffy hops off the ship, and looks around.] Mn... it's pretty dark out. We don't know what could come out either, so let's just save it for tomorrow.

April 17th

[Luffy stretches in the morning, and has his little sack ready for exploring. Sure, he's excited, but he's got to think of the others, too.]

Hey, guys! [Shouting to make sure he's got their attention. It works doubly well with Luffy.] Since we don't know what we're gonna find, I think it'd be better if we went in groups. I could lead one, and Marco the other. Think it'd be good if we had one doctor in each group, too. They can take care of anyone if something happens. Sound good?

Finding the newspaper

[Ammy had been searching throughout the town cautiously. It wasn't any more cheery than Discedo was, but it was in slightly better condition. When a gust of wind blew through the area she caught sight of a piece of paper with something written on it. She gives it a short chase before jumping into the air and catching it in her mouth. Once all four paws are back on the ground, she puts the paper down, keeping it from blowing away by using one paw to hold it down.

She couldn't read these strange characters. She looks around for any threats before letting out a series of barks to draw the others' attention.]

April 18th

finding the time capsule

[ In a search for any information on this place, Jack's going from memory. He doesn't have the newspaper clipping on him, but he does remember the area the capsule was around.

Standing around where it seemed to be, he kicks the ground a bit, then calls out ] Hey guys, I think this is where the capsule is!

April 19th

[ The urge is too much. As the campsite settles down for the evening, the trees are silent.

Finally, the marauders come out of hiding, armed, angry, and screaming their battle cry. ]
