Shit! That's...that's sick. Why would they even do that? The hell do they gain by pretending to be us?

I heard it was because they desire to feel alive again, which makes me think they are restless spirits.

Killing them seems to be the only way. Also that way, the scientists will be able to retrieve the victim's skin, which is probably needed to resurrect them.
