((Jumping ahead a little on the time line, Sakura wanders aimlessly through the first cottage they explore. What a dump. Her eyes are wide as she looks at every little cobweb. The ceiling has holes inside of it, and for a moment she smiles.

Looks like a bird tried to build a nest here. A moment of silence for her, maybe a little transfixed.))

[ Naruto is, quite obviously, not very far behind Sakura. He's basically been by her side since they got off the ship, and has been very sure to keep her in sight! Gotta keep her safe.

Anyway, he' gives the cottage a look and frowns. This place has seen. Better. Days. ]

Is every town on this planet a dump?

Hmm..?

Oh, well, yea. I mean if you've looked at Discedo, its obvious something really big happened there a long time ago. This must have happened around the same time. I just wish we knew what.

[ramenkage]

Well, I can't really think of something that would cause this much destruction. [ Well, he can but what he's thinking of would be more world-specific, so... ]

But eh, it was probably shitty, yeah? Dunno why you'd wanna know more than that.

[sthenic]

Well, maybe it might help us figure out what to expect. Sometimes the answers to the future rest in the past, you know? ...Anything to prepare for whatever's next. ((a little sad.))

[ramenkage]

[ Frowns at her. ] Yeah, I guess. Try not to think about it too much, though, yeah?

[ And then he'll just...poke around. Trip over a (broken)table. Try to act like he didn't trip over the table. Stuff like that. ]

Wonder if there's even anything worth finding.

April 16th (Evening)

[China steps off the ship, warily looking around the dark surroundings. He shakes his head.]

I don't like the looks of this.

[ramenkage]

It's seen better days, that's for sure. [ Stepping off after him, hands behind his head. He's pretty unconcerned, really. The place is deserted, what could possibly go wrong? ]

[gochuugoku]

I wonder if there's any place on this planet where there are populated cities, aru.

[ramenkage]

Tch, I hope the hell not. It'd be pretty depressing to think everywhere is like this.

[gochuugoku]

Perhaps it would be wise if we all took turns keeping watch. You know, whoever is keeping watch switches with some one else after an hour or so maybe?

[Cube's heart echos that statement.]

Perhaps it's simply because it's darker outside...

If this place is anything like Discedo, then there most likely monsters roaming in this area, aru.

[But that's why he brought his twin hook swords and firearms with him. Good thing he got his chip out before coming here too. But even with all that, he doesn't feel comfortable.]

[Cube also has firearms, but he can't use them very well. Still, he steps along behind China, looking around with worry written all over him.]

Yes, but I wonder what sorts... or how big.

[He personally was hoping for no undead.]

I hope my magic will work on them, if we do come across any.

[Did I mention he forgets he has a rifle strapped to his back most the time?]

[He shrugs slightly.]

I suppose we will not know until we find them, or vice versa. In the meantime, we should start setting things up.

I've already agreed to take the first watch and someone has volunteered to take the shift after mine.

[dewebbed]

You're telling me. [ Jack stands nearby, looking around in the same way. But he's not as worried. ] At least we might be able to find something useful!

[gochuugoku]

Maybe. If this city hasn't been robbed bone dry yet. It's not safe to go now, though.

[He kicks a nearby pebble.] I wonder if it would be wise to build a fire, aru. We want to keep warm, but I don't want the smoke to give away our location to the monsters, or whatever may be out there.

[Not that he's scared, he's just talking common sense.]

Yeah, you're right. There's no use not checking for something, though! Maybe it's safe in the houses. [ man when was the last time he was in a cozy little cottage? not even just before he came here, considering he was at the court. ]

[gochuugoku]

If a monster hasn't made any of them into a den yet, then yes.

[For arriving at the cottages on the 15th, Luffy can be found looking around the cottages, with... his usual excitement a bit off. He looks around the cottages, but looks a bit distant.] Robin would be having a ball with this place...

[He pokes his head curiously into the cottages, clearly noting the signs of there being something like a fight.] Wonder what happened.

[On the 16th, docking at the small town shore, Luffy hops off the ship, and looks around.] Mn... it's pretty dark out. We don't know what could come out either, so let's just save it for tomorrow.

Aye aye, captain! ((SOOOMEONE is sort of having fun being a pirate for the week. Shhhhh. She's happy at least. For now.

She'll just do her thing and bring out her few belongings--the blanket she rolled up and her medical kit. She looks at her surroundings as she picks her spot to sleep, catching luffy's eye. She smiles in response.))

[straw_hat]

[Her excitement in turn lifts Luffy's own spirits. Adventures are fun with friends, but he would've loved for his nakama to be here. but they're not. And he's got crew mates now, and they're fine. He grins back at Sakura, laughing through his teeth again.]

Help anyone else out if they need it, okay?

Yea, you bet. Everything holding up alright for you?
