[Finally, something normal. Danny had been getting antsy with the lack of surprise attacks in this world. He phases through his blanket, transforms as he rolls to his feet and charges toward the marauders.]

[ The marauders charge forward still, unflinching. One attempts to swing a stick at Danny--lot of good that will do him. ]

[Yeah.. nice try. Danny ducks and sends forth a blast of ice energy.]

[ The marauder flies back. He's out of the fight, but another one takes a swing with a metal pipe. ]
