You mean back in September? I was on it then. Or was it before that?

Uh, I think it was during the summer! When the bomb went off, and we all had to leave Discedo.

[straw_hat]

--whoa a bomb went off!? Damn, and I missed it! [because that is totally something you regret not seeing.]

Yeah, there was a mushroom cloud and everything! That's why people traveled out to Spero and Dissimulo in the first place. It's safe in Discedo now, though. [ HE SOUNDS A BIT EXCITED TOO mainly because he wasn't himself when he experienced that.... ]

A mushroom cloud? Sounds like a weird bomb. What the hell were those scientist bastards thinking!?

[dewebbed]

Oh, wait, does you world not have mushroom clouds? They're what happens when nuclear bombs go off. [ he scratches his chin- how do you explain nukes? ] They're basically the most deadly kind of bomb you can think of. They level cities, so they're basically banned by any good country back home. We had to get out of there so we didn't get sick from the radiation they leave behind.

Anyway, yeah, I've got no clue what the scientists were thinking either. It might not have been them! I mean, they almost could've killed us all.

Oooh. I've got something like them in my world. Except for the radiation part. I think.

Knowing them, they probably would've. [His opinion of them is a very low one.]

Yeah, maybe. Every time I try to figure out what those guys are doing, they do something against it! I don't even know what they want anymore.

[straw_hat]

I don't care about what they want, I just wanna kick their asses!

[dewebbed]

Haha, you're telling me. But I at least want to know how to get home.

We can do that after we beat 'em.

Maybe we should beat them up a little bit, then say we'll beat them up more unless they tell us how to leave. And then you can beat them up some more if you want.

Hm... [He thinks about this.] Nah, I'll just kick their asses.

[dewebbed]

You really like beating people up, huh.

[straw_hat]

I like fighting. I just beat up people who deserve it.

[dewebbed]

Yeah, the scientists probably do deserve it after all this. [ :| this place has given him some pretty bad memories ]

And a lot worse. [By that tone, you can guess he's got a lot more than just bad memories with the scientists.]

...Yeah. I guess I don't know what to do with them until I know what they're really doing! [ kind of a frustrating topic this is. dem scientists ]

Hmph. Why the hell do they have be in charge.

[dewebbed]

Because they've got the power, I guess. I bet it'd be different if we figured out what was going on.

[straw_hat]

Well, we can just take the power from 'em!

That's what I've been thinking for...forever, haha. [ it was like his first idea ] But we just don't know where to look for them.

And I can't use my haki to find them either... they must be really well hidden.

Haki? What's that?

[straw_hat]

It's an ability I've got! I can use it to make an armor on me, sense where people are and predict their moves, and knock 'em out without lifting a finger!
