Who: Asia family + Stocking
Where: China and Stocking's Apartment within the Marshall building.
When: Early afternoon on June 3rd
Rating: PG-13, most likely
Summary: The groom's family meets the bride and future sister-in-law.
The Log:

China had sent out a text to his family members a week in advance before the scheduled meeting, so when he awoke that morning of the set date he was feeling slightly nervous. As far as he knew, his siblings never had as much interaction with Stocking as he did. Then of course was the usual worry of the family not approving the bride to be. Despite his worries, he helped Stocking clean the apartment, he prepared some tea, snacks, and of course sweets. He was dressed in his red outfit with his hair neatly combed into its usual ponytail.

After setting the tray of tea and food down on the low table, he stood up to scan over the apartment briefly. Everything seemed in order, so now all there was to do was wait. He glances over in Stocking's direction to give her a small smile before returning his gaze to the door.

China nods his head, he's shown the same mannerisms before himself after all.

"Macau is not with you?" China guesses that he might be doing a few more things with that casino model.

Stocking sat down and watched the two speak. She wanted to say something but decided to watch like a hawk and see how things unraveled. Also she had no clue who Macau was.

"He's working, I think," Hong Kong says, confirming what China must have been thinking. "Sorry, I didn't talk to him before I left."

China shakes his head. "It's alright. I'm sure he will show up later. If not, we can always give him a call."

He gestures to Stocking. "Hong Kong, you already know, but this is Stocking." He turns to Stocking. "Stocking, this is Hong Kong, my youngest brother."

"Nice to meet you." She arises and walks slowly to Hong Kong. Stocking extends her right hand to him.

Hong Kong bows his head a little when he takes her hand, posture respectful. "It's an honor."

She smiles slightly at him and pulls away gently. "Yeah you too. I hope we can get to know each other better."

So far so good. China smiles softly at both of them.

"Why don't I pour us all some tea? There's snacks too if anyone wants some."

Hong Kong nods to China when he speaks, but redirects his attention to Stocking afterward, since she addressed him as well. He doesn't want to be rude. "I hope so too," he says, which is simple, but it is true. "I guess we'll have some time, won't we?"

Stocking nodded slightly at him. "Yeah I guess."

"It is still early."

China will wait until Hong Kong and Stocking have seated themselves in the living room before seating himself. He pours tea for all three of them. Once he's finished, he gestures at the two trays of food, still smiling softly. One of the trays held nothing but sweets.

"I'll bet Taiwan will want to discuss many things with everyone. She insisted that she help plan the wedding." he says after taking a sip of his tea. "I'm so glad she has recovered."

"Yeah, I'm glad she's okay too. Sounds like her, wanting to plan things." Hong Kong glances over at Stocking, waiting on her before taking anything. He sort of assumes the treats are for her— the sweet ones, that is. It's just a hunch, obviously.

But of course they are! She takes a small cake and eats it slowly, enjoying the taste very much. It's one of the main reasons China and her get along so well; they know each other.

Putting the cake down, she wiped her mouth with a napkin and drank some tea. Once she finished, she spoke.

"Very kind little sister. Yes, I'm glad she's helping."

"She's excited to have another sister." He says, addressing both Hong Kong and Stocking. He chuckles afterwards. "She said all us males are too noisy for her."

He gestures at the tray of sweets again. "If you would like Hong Kong, you may take some too. I have plenty more in the kitchen, so there's no need to worry about us running out of sweets." He always makes sure to keep them in stock.

Of course, there's the other tray, which carries plates of bao, chips, and cut fruit.

"She's kinda right about that." Hong Kong raises his tea to his lips, looking very faintly amused. He hides it well, but he does at least seem to agree with what's being said.

The fruit is what appeals to him, so that's what he has his eye on for now. "Thanks, professor."

Stocking smiles at them both. "Would you like anything else?" She speaks to Hong Kong of course.

China can see Hong Kong eying that fruit, so he pushes the bowl of fruit in his direction, also smiling.

He sees that Stocking is directing the question at Hong Kong, so he doesn't answer.

"Me?" Hong Kong reaches for the fruit, nodding at the bowl. "This is good, thanks." He takes a piece, then looks back at China, then Stocking.

"We're still waiting on some people, yeah?"

"Yes, we are. We can still talk, though. They will arrive soon enough." He also reaches for one of the fruits and pops it into his mouth.
