The Log:

[ This is an open log for those who wish to explore Lachesistein freely, and it can take place any time between July 16th and 26th. Okay. [ He gets up, stretching a bit before setting out, circling a couch. ] Where'd it come from?

[Maybe one of the dwarven spiders?]

That way. [Taiwan follows after, eyes darting here and there, on the alert.]

Spiritual pressure. More or less. Enough of it lets you hear the true heart of things.

Hn... Neither of those are good things.

Nothing that I came here for. [ They'd found a few interesting things, sure, but mere trinkets aren't enough to sate him. Nevertheless he maintains that cool demeanor. He's accustomed to disappointment. ]

[ No doubt Suigetsu is more familiar with and comfortable in fog than he himself is. The majority of memories that he associates with such conditions are decidedly negative, after all. ]

Good. You'll be more useful with a weapon like that. [ And naturally everything he says comes across as unnecessarily harsh, but to be fair it's true. ] Until we know more about what we're dealing with we'll stay together. [ Sasuke enjoys splitting up, what can he say. ]

[Izaya laughs, his amusement sounding almost genuine as he continues to watch Suigetsu. The only thing hard to tell was what exactly he was laughing at.]

I'd prefer not to be compared with a monster, Sui-chan~

[Despite his words Izaya bounds slightly forward to close the distance even more between them.]

But you're more fun than certain other monsters I know.

[Guard supposedly lowered Izaya begins to half push Suigetsu forward into the warehouse again, this time following after.

Like Celty he would find a purpose for this monster. He would use it and abuse it and then discard of it when he was finished.]

Let's go find those traps waiting us then, ne?

Hm? Oh, yes. I wanted to test out my new little toy. ((He holds up a strange gun. His beloved slot machine gun!!)) I doubt something like this exists in your world. It's an oddity in ours as well.

Monster is a pretty loose term, Izaya. But at least I'm the fun kind~

[ But it means "inhumanly cruel or wicked person" and that suits him just perfectly. Suigetsu raises his eyebrows with a smile when Izaya approaches without heeding his warnings and he feels the brush of hands on him, ushering him farther inside. He pouts. ]

Don't rush me! I'll get there when I get there, you know? I doubt there'll be anything too important in here. If I were a criminal - if, of course, hehehe - I wouldn't hide a bunch of hostages in this kinda place. Too cliché! You need to be inventive when you're dispatching people!

Whaddaya think, Izaya?

[ Fog is his home. He adores fog. The advantage is his in all foggy situations.

Suigetsu doesn't contest his first statement, mainly because he knows it's true. He is ten times as deadly with a sword, not a bad thing to be ashamed of. So he holds his head high and sighs. He hates being tied to a team, to have to look out someone other than number one. But if it's Sasuke, it's bearable. ]

Yeah, yeah. So long as you don't disappear again. [ He motions ahead. ] There's the school anyway. [ A few seconds later it appears, looming in the fog, scribbled graffiti cautioning visitors. ]

Spooky.

[ There's a clicking and a bang... it appears to be a golden bug the height of a medium sized dog.

He stares at it quietly, holding an arm out in front of Taiwan, skeptical of the thing... it didn't look that scary... ]

[She peers at it from behind his arm] W-what do you think it is? It looks kind of like a spider...

[shortestfuse]

Looks like that to me too. [ Moves closer. ] Do I throw it away?

[meilihua]

Well...it...hasn't actually done anything yet.

Other than wake us up... Maybe it's friendly?

[shinjukuinformant]

I think that only increases our chances of finding the trap then, ne?

[Izaya smirk's.]

The most obvious place where they could be hidden used as a lure for the more simple minded? There must be something in here.

... [ He crouches down by it only to have it stab him in the foot through his dress shoe.

He stares at it, expression flat. ] I don't think it's friendly. Whaddaya want me to do with it.

[liquidate]

I'm pretty much exploring anyway, but you could be right! Searching for traps... I like you style~

[ He smiles pleasantly, looking over. ] If you're scared of the dark, I can hold your hand, Izaya.

I won't catch any monster diseases, will I?

[Izaya smirks]

Can't you just carry me~~~?

You really do have good instincts in this kind of weather. As expected. [ He had good reasons for choosing Suigetsu; his close proximity at the time wasn't even one of them. Sasuke would've had no qualms with traveling through more than one country to get what he wanted. ]

I'm not going anywhere. Stay close to me as well, especially if something like this intimidates you.

I haven't seen anything like it before. Knives are usually enough.

[ His smile falls though, replaced by a deadpan stare. ]
