[ The last of the holiday season are here, and the festivities are finally under way. All down Lander an absurd amount of punch, food, alcohol, and warm winter wear are at your disposal. Various kinds of music play from places undetermined, songs from the festive to the bizarre, its your pick. It's only your fellow captivees here, so might as well enjoy the free shit and partying right?

[ .. Locked out of her apartment and now facing this. Great. Things have been quiet enough lately in this place - for once - but now it seems they're going back into full swing, huh?

Not that Ange just easily goes along with it. In fact, she's just eyeing some of the food as if just touching it would be enough to make it explode. The black cat next to her has already jumped up on the table though, eagerly munching on some fish as if it has no cares. Whatever, you do what you want, Bern-chan, not like she cares!!

(Yet she's eyeing the cat somewhat worriedly.)

((Clive looks content in his big puffy new jacket, hands shoved into his pockets as he eyes the sky a bit. He's wearing the new hat that Jack wished for him, not that Clive is particularly aware of the wish. Rosy cheeks and a red nose, he frowns into the sky.

((Sakura IS one of those people who tried to get back into the building, and consequently, she is wearing a very belatedly festive hat. She hasn't bothered to take it off since it's notably warm. The party looks a little like a cold version of the New Years festivals back home, but she'd never seen a ball drop. She's suspicious.

So... every so often... while leaning over the counter to see if many a man is hiding behind it, you'll find that SAKURA will be the one popping out of no where.))

[ Guess who's really enjoying the grappling hook he got for Christmas? This guy. Jack pops into the celebration by swinging off a tree and almost knocking over some of the food. Don't worry, he'll shout out an apology before going to munch on some of the food.

This is a bit different from last year. So he'll probably walk up to you and say something like- ] So, what do you think the Scientists are gonna do to us now?

[ Hong Kong is Totally Chill about this business. As he often is, of course. Having been here over a year hasn't seemed to do anything to his somewhat lax sense of self-preservation either. He's going to sit here, eating whatever he can find to eat. Feel free to interrupt his grazing if you so desire. ]

[don't get him wrong, yukio's only out and about here because it's slightly more pleasant than anywhere else in discedo at the moment. he's missed luxury. but seeing as this trip was unplanned, his handheld isn't at full charge-- meaning he might have to socialize, and that would be awful.

for now, he's content sitting at a lonely table; head ducked slightly as he plays out the last minutes of his game. give him another moment or so, and it might be just put away completely.]

[see, this is what he gets for going outside. cats. yukio looks at the animal with clear distaste, lip beginning to curl into a sneer. not that this is really an unusual expression for him. he retracts not his untouched plate of food, but his handheld console from the table.]

[China is dressed rather warmly, wearing one of the outfits Stocking got him for his birthday. However, he's added a red and black scarf to the mix. He approaches Hong Kong with a smile and with his gloved hands in his pockets.]

[Well, he certainly was irritated when he and Stocking were suddenly locked out of their apartment. He was hoping to have a private New Years with his wife and siblings, but no...

Still, might as well go to the New Years party occurring in the neighborhood since he couldn't really do anything else. This moment, he was just walking down Lander, looking at all the different things they had set up. All are welcome to socialize with him as he keeps walking down the street. He's warmly dressed in one of the outfits Stocking gave to him as a birthday gift.]

[ Good to see you like your new life as an action hero, Jack.. Ange's just casually standing there, keeping on eye on Bern-chan even now, but just glances at Jack for a moment when he approaches her and speaks up. ]

Who knows. Any guess would be just as good as any other. Let's not hope it's something as ridiculous as turning us into donkeys.

[ Seriously. Ange's been with this thing for a while now, she knows that when Bern-chan wants something, she just goes ahead and does it. Just like now. She's just staring at the cat as it's eating.. ]

{The Doctor is wearing his normal clothing, and a scarf. The cold isn't really a thing that bothers him, but he likes the scarf, even if it does cover up his amazingly cool bowtie.

However, he can't seem to find River... Huh. Well, she's probably mostly fine. She usually is. Ohh, is that hot cocoa? He's gonna go get some.}

Bug him too, he has no friends.

{Nor has dragged himself out from Dissimulo, displeased that he'd been locked out of his house. At least he'd been able to grab a winter coat and scarf.

Upon arriving, and seeing all the festivities, he'd grabbed himself a blanket and a coffee from one of the stalls and sat on a nearby bench, watching. It seemed like all his close friends had left recently, and he wondered if it was a sign that maybe they'd all be going home soon. He hoped so.}

[ Hey, Yukio. Bern-chan isn't going down that easily. You might find the cat firmly planting its claws in your hand when it gets too close.

Ange's just staring with a 'told you so' kind of expression.. ]

[also retracting his hand now, cradling it as if its been fucking burned. granted, he's wearing gloves and all, but those claws still managed to nick his skin. looking particularly murderous now:]

Have you considered locking it in a cage and letting it starve to death?

[ WOAH THAT MIGHT GO A LITTLE TOO FAR. Not that Ange doesn't threaten the cat on a daily basis, but she usually never goes that far.. the cat hisses, but Ange tries to make a slightly soothing hand motion at it. ]

Come on, Bern-chan, calm down already! [ then again, he did start it. .. somewhat. ] .. And just so you know, I think she's smart enough to find a way out. She practically already realised how to use my communicator too.

[ annnd here's Jack running in from behind him, tapping his shoulder ] Hey, dude, did you get any new games for Christmas?

I think they do it in America on New Years. Who knows what the Scientists are gonna do with it, though!

[ Jack's excited, but deep down, he does have his guard up ]
