Who: Asia family + Stocking
Where: China and Stocking's Apartment within the Marshall building.

Summary: The groom's family meets the bride and future sister-in-law.
The Log:

China had sent out a text to his family members a week in advance before the scheduled meeting, so when he awoke that morning of the set date he was feeling slightly nervous. As far as he knew, his siblings never had as much interaction with Stocking as he did. Then of course was the usual worry of the family not approving the bride to be. Despite his worries, he helped Stocking clean the apartment, he prepared some tea, snacks, and of course sweets. He was dressed in his red outfit with his hair neatly combed into its usual ponytail.

After setting the tray of tea and food down on the low table, he stood up to scan over the apartment briefly. Everything seemed in order, so now all there was to do was wait. He glances over in Stocking's direction to give her a small smile before returning his gaze to the door.

She's fine, China, fine! She's more interested in what Stocking is saying anyway. "Really? What's your older sister like?"

"Um well messy. Really messy...." She begins to think about all the things her sister does. However she will not tell Taiwan.

[gochuugoku]

"She is basically the opposite of Stocking," he's way ahead of her, "I believe you also told me her hair is different from yours, right, Stocking? That her hair color is blond?"

[ready2go]

"Yes." She places a hand to her chin. Panty did have blond hair didn't she?

[meilihua]

"You can't just say that much, that isn't fair!" But if that's all you want to say, she'll deal with it. She'll sulk, but she won't push.

[gochuugoku]

"I'm sure that if Panty ever appears here, she can tell you herself. Besides, she is not the one getting married."

China begins to walk over to the circle of chairs, but he doesn't seat himself yet. "Why don't we all sit down while we wait for everyone else?"

[meilihua]

"You're the one standing." She rolls her eyes at him.

Stocking chuckles a bit and stands up. She gently grabs China's shoulders and leads him to a chair. "Sit."

[meilihua]

"Yeah, we wouldn't want you to get too tired standing the whole time. Old people need their rest." Aww look at her, butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

[gochuugoku]

He sits in the chair he's guided to, sending a glare in Taiwan's direction before letting out a sigh.

"It is usually the man who offers the women a seat..."

[meilihua]

"Well, we're both already sitting, so there's no point in just standing the whole time!"

Stocking smiled softly and began to gently rub China's shoulder. "Yup."

Awww, just watching them is kind of cute...

[gochuugoku]

The rubbing of his shoulder helps coax him into letting it go, so he sighs.

"So, Taiwan, how has your wedding planning been going along? Do you need help with anything?"

[meilihua]

China, be careful what you ask for, as Taiwan slams a huge book of photographs and clippings and nonsense onto the table.

"Oh, it's going really well! Actually I wanted to ask you two about your color preferences, see, because I have some of the decorations done, but I wasn't sure if it would go well with Stocking's dress and..."

This could...take a while...

Oh, wow... Then again, this is a wedding they were dealing with here, so it should be expected. Still, China is impressed. He listens quietly to what Taiwan has to say, though he answers her questions when she asks.

"Well, of course red and gold would be the primary choices for the decorations, as well as the wedding garments. Also, I was considering that we draw the Dragon and Fenghuang on the doorway of the building in which the ceremony will be held. Ah, speaking of locations, we have a few suggestions. ...Do you have any suggestions for locations as well, Taiwan?"

[meilihua]

"Really?" She's making lots of notes - way more than China seems to actually be saying. "Where were you thinking of? Everything here is kind of run down..."

[gochuugoku]

He takes a sip of his tea before answering again.

"One of them is the high school's gym. I remember you setting up the Lantern Festival there and how you made the building look nicer on the inside. We could do the same for the wedding with some decoration and possibly a little renovation."

[meilihua]

"W-well, yeah we could..." And she already has ideas for the space, since she'd done that before, but... "Is that all right with you, Stocking?" She seems really anxious. "I-i know this is probably the opposite of how you hoped your wedding would go..."

[ready2go]

"Huh? No not really. I don't really care how the wedding goes." She shrugs slightly and stops massaging China's shoulders. She simply pets them gently.

[gochuugoku]

China puts his hands atop Stocking's.

"When we return home and find each other again, we'll have an even better ceremony. With the drummers, horns, the whole parade, and we'll rent one of the best locations in China. So for now, we will do whatever we can here."

[meilihua]

Taiwan really doesn't understand that - but then she hasn't exactly found the right person yet. To her, the wedding is the point, not just the side-show. "Well, okay, as long as you're okay with it."

[ready2go]

Stocking nodded at her. "Thank you Taiwan for helping. I am more than okay with everything."

[meilihua]

"Stocking, you still need to have some input, you know!" Come on, pretend you're excited about it, for her?

[ready2go]

"Um well all I ask for is lots of sweets." She nods. Yup that's what she wants. Stocking smirks at China.
