Summary: Scientists have pets. People want them. Time for a road trip!
The Log:

Sunday morning comes and it's time to set out for this paper factory Kain wants everyone to go see. After his intial post on the network, Adam contacted those who were still interested in going with the time and place to meet up: outside Dissimulo's entrance bright and early that morning.

Well...time to get started then.

((There is a bearded man dressed in a trench coat; it's draped over his shoulders. He has messy hair, and looks to have a disabled arm.

Honestly. Unless you heard him talk, it's pretty hard to tell this is Germany. He's lost both his siblings, and now the scientists have KIDNAPPED HIS DOG. Bullshit!!! He is a very grumpy, almost-homeless-looking man. This month has sucked.))

[Washu's doing the same thing along with having her computer floating in front of her. There was just a few notes she had to add to her latest findings before they set off.

Once she was done, she noticed him and raised an eyebrow.]

Weren't you the one that fixed the hospital generator in Spero?

Snow, rain, and monsters oh my! Watch out for those trees that pelt apples at you! There's a reason why Adam brought a basket...did you do it too?

[ And then Hong Kong made numerous attempts to befriend the pandas. Persistently, throughout the trip, he will vanish to try and explore the surrounding area. If you wanna find out why, feel free to ask. Otherwise he's pretty quiet and doesn't cause any ruckus or anything.... ]

[China had been waiting for him to come back, so when he returns, he smiles gently and holds up the small Chinese candy box.]

Do you want some? I made this one especially for our family.

[Sure this wasn't the place he pictured him celebrating New Years with his family, but as long as he had his family he supposed the setting didn't really matter. Though his back was killing him right now and he didn't have a comfortable chair to rest it against.]

[Regardless of the weather or apples, every thing that was tossed at Washu never reached her. Instead they were stopped by a wall of energy which easily protected the petite little red-head.

Washu really had one goal in mind and that was getting her dear little Ryo-Ohki back. Everything else was trivial.]

[Likewise, Cynthia was ready to face anything that might be tossed down her way - and perhaps Togekiss might have attempted to eat those apples, had Garchomp not been much faster to slice them up. So far, so good.

Still, she could not help but notice the little genius not too far from her, and the way she was handling incoming attacks. No reason not to say anything, right?]

[Okay, she was so not prepared for all of this snow and pelting apple trees and strange frogs! Seriously! Is saving those animals really worth all of this?!

Sai idly rubs a small bruise on her face caused by one of the apples hitting her square on.]

AIyaa... I don't know how we'll be able to eat the food with all these monsters and plants, even pandas, attacking us!

[In his hands, China has a closed box, full of food from Chinese New Year, which included Buddha's delight, leek mixed with cougar meat, a small turnip cake made from some of the turnips he found in the greenhouse back in Discedo, various dried candied plant seeds, roots, and fruits. He also had a small Chinese candy box for his family members.

This was the Year of the Dragon, so early or late, he was still willing to do something, because it just didn't feel right not doing anything for the New Year. Feel free to ask him for food, that's why he brought it in the first place. Just don't expect him to give you any candy from the candy box since that particular one is for family only.]

[Denzel was under layers and layers and was still freezing as he did he shook. He thought about those scientists and holding his pet captive. HOW DARE THEY. Call it personal or still holding a grudge Denzel was going to press forward despite the cold. Wait a second... Did that tree have a face and just say something? Laughing like a manic.] Finally! Something strange!

[ As always, I am a million years late OH WELL.

Granted, America is horrendously late too. He showed up at the very last minute because he heard that there was a group of people going on an expedition without his guidance. He can't let those poor souls be lost to an untamed wilderness they are all completely unprepared for (because they're not him)!

Unfortunately for everyone, America is one of those incredibly annoying beings that can't shut up or stop whistling. Everyone should mark themselves lucky he's sober and not talking about the wonders of nature and whatnot. Really, the only upside to his presence is that he's quick to draw, quick to fire, and quick to not give a shit about what he just shot.

Even if it's a panda.

At the Factory

Paper Factory...yep. Time to see what all the fuss was about this place. Could it be possible that this place holds a clue to something?

Adam had looked throughout the factory, wanting to find something of use to himself. There was a reason why this place was important and he wanted to know the truth. He had a feeling that it was right behind an office door...

Grab the handle and turn it...and locked.

"...damn. Looks like I need a back up plan."

Kicking would work, right? Those around the area would hear the ranger grunt followed by smacking. Did he succeed?

Once inside, Denzel screams out in horror! "No! STAY AWAY FROM ME! STAY AWAY FROM ME! FAIRIES ARE REAL! ALL OF IT IS! YOU CAN'T SILENCE THE TRUTH! NOOOOOOOO!" Apparently screaming in horror at nothing?

As soon as she can, Washu splits off to do a little exploring on her own. Soon enough she comes across the turbine which catches her interest. Along with a door near it.

One peek in and the petite scientist was gone. Inside she found shelves of books! Opening the first one only cemented the fact she felt like she hit the jackpot on this endeavor. Immediately, she starts taking them off the shelves, leafing through them and taking the most interesting ones to study for herself.
